COMMUNITY CONSULTATION
A comprehensive process of consultation with the local community is proposed during the exhibition period from Thursday January 19 – Wednesday February 29, 2012.
Local residents can participate in the consultation process and attend or be part of the following.
INFORMATION FORUMS
In conjunction with the City of Stonnington, two Community Information Forums are scheduled for local residents to obtain an overview of the proposed development plans, view the animation 3D video project fly-throughs, and discuss the proposal with Council Officers and the Chadstone consultant team.

NEIGHBOURHOOD FOCUS GROUPS
A series of Neighbourhood Focus Groups have been organised by the City of Stonnington throughout the consultation period. This is an opportunity for residents to discuss their views, seek clarification and provide direct feedback.
IN-CENTRE DISPLAY
An in-centre display will be available from Thursday January 19, 2012 through to Wednesday February 29, 2012 in the Mall Foyer of the Chadstone Place Office Tower, accessible via the Fresh Food Precinct. You will be able to view more about the development including a video of the 3D project fly-throughs.
DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY UPDATES
Community Update Newsletters will be circulated to local residents to provide regular updates on the project and the status of the planning process. To date there have been two updates.

MORE INFORMATION
As part of the lodgement process for the planning proposal, a comprehensive package of technical reports, planning documentation and plans was lodged in support of this proposal. Access to these documents is available through the council website: http://www.stonnington.vic.gov.au/chadstone
Residents can submit comments on the proposal as a written submission to the Council no later than February 29, 2012. Submission forms are available here for download: http://www.stonnington.vic.gov.au/
At the end of the exhibition period, Council will consider a report on the submissions received and may request the Minister for Planning to appoint an independent Planning Panel to review and report on the submissions.
